Three Indian students who were studying medicine in Ukraine met with a shocking accident in Kiev, on 11th March 2016. They were stabbed by 3 Ukraine nationals in Uzhgorod Medical College, where they were completing their education. Pranav Shaindilya was from Muzaffarnagar, Ankur Singh from Ghaziabad and Indrajeet Singh Chauhan from Agra. Pranav and Ankur lost their lives, on the spot, whereas Indrajeet, severely injured, is recuperating in the hospital.

This news was given to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav by the Indian Embassy leaving him deeply affected. He extended his condolences the family of the UP students and ordered the officials to extend any and every possible help to the families of the three. The People’s CM has asked the district magistrates of the concerned areas to ensure that their bodies are brought back home, at the earliest.

The CM also directed the Indian Embassy to investigate the matter, thoroughly. The entire state is saddened by this fatal accident and hope that such things don’t happen in future.
