After free laptops, bags, and fruits with mid-day meals, Akhilesh Yadav has come up with yet another novel idea to encourage the youth of the state to go in for further studies. A lot of times, students do not want to attend classes because they are unable to grasp the subject or are unable to score well due to lack of adequate understanding. This results in young children dropping out of school. Akhilesh Government has found a way to curb this, to a great extent.
From September onwards, students of the ninth standard will be given extra classes on a huge scale to ensure that everyone is on the same page. These remedial classes will boost the confidence of the students and keep them prepared, all around the year. The UPCM declared this during a meeting with Basic and Primary Education Department members. This step will also make them ready to face board exams the next year.
To ensure that the teachers are regular to these classes, their attendance will be marked online and monitored by the concerned officials. During the meeting, Akhilesh Yadav shed light on some important decisions taken by the government in this field. For instance, the schedule for this year’s Kanya Vidya Dhan was shared along with details of the tender issued for utensils needed for mid-day meal and school bags to be distributed amongst school going children.
Each Clean School-Green School will be given Rs. 50 lakh for their maintenance and upkeep. At the same time, directives were issued for 15 model schools throughout the state and one Abhinav Vidyalaya in Lucknow and Saifai, each.
Social Samajwadi appreciates the thought invested by Akhilesh Yadav in the future of these young children.
