Rajesh Singh
Negi, a National Security Guard, suffered multiple injuries on his body and
impaired his vision when a grenade was lobbed at the team at Pathankot airbase
by the terrorists. Rajesh hails from Ghaziabad and fought bravely to save his
motherland, without thinking of any physical discomfort.

Proud Akhilesh
Yadav, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh announced on Twitter to facilitate Rajesh’s
medical expenses.

“ #UPCM announces for medical expenses incurred
during the treatment of Commander Rajesh Singh to be borne by @UPGovt. ”

Akhilesh Yadav also directed the state
government to aid Rajesh financially by presenting him Rs. 1 Lakh immediately. Negi
was part of the special team which flew to the air base in Pathankot to fight
the terrorist attack. Harsh Singh Negi, Rajesh’s father, after receiving the
help, happily said, “The other injuries have healed
but the eye injury still persists. Doctors are still hopeful.”

We really hope Rajesh will be able to
lead a normal life after getting help from Akhilesh Yadav, our People’s CM.
