A lot of places are not motorable or they are quicker to access on two wheelers; keeping this in mind the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav have come up with a novel idea to introduce Bike Ambulance. This initiative will ensure that every single person reaches proper care, in time.
In accordance with the National Health Mission, 87 motorcycles are to be purchased and for this Rs. 33 crore have been sanctioned. To test this service, Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi will start this service. Once all the creases have been ironed out, the Bike Ambulance will be positioned all over the state. Rs. 97.12 crore have been issued to district hospitals for diabetes screening and divisional headquarters hospitals have been sanctioned Rs. 27.45 crore.
Akhilesh Yadav hopes to fund the insurance and provide assistance to people and for the same, Rs. 1.60 crore has been proposed along with Rs. 65.36 crore to improve the health indicators in seven districts. The district hospitals will be equipped with biomedical devices and soon will be technically sound E-hospital.
Uttar Pradesh is thrilled with all the development in the health sector under the young People’s CM direction.
