For better security measures in the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has implemented multiple schemes. After the successful 1090, the state police is starting with Operation Vishwas. CCTVs have been installed in cities and police stations. And this is not all, the UP Police have been made to undergo special training to inculcate respect for the citizens.
To strengthen the system further, Akhilesh Yadav has directed the UP Police DGP, Javeed Ahmad to look into high tech policing. Dial 100 will be an example of this and special training for the officers will start by the end of August. To make it a success, the CM has directed the officials to put in their 100% in the initiative. It will be of utmost importance to reach the crime scene at the earliest, within the stipulated time. For this, each region will be technically mapped to various police stations so that there is no confusion at the time of an emergency.
Training for digital mapping will be conducted for all field officers starting from the 16th of August by Master Trainers. It will be done across 18 districts along the state for the first phase and the second phase will cover 30 districts. This exercise will ensure smart policing, which is Akhilesh Yadav’s basic idea.
Dial 100 is meant to take prompt action in a fixed minimum time limit by sharing the information received through phone calls with the concerned police station/police post of concerned district and other officers.
Social Samajwadi would like to thank Akhilesh Yadav for such smart security measures to make the residents feel safe.
