Akhilesh Yadav, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has always focused on tourism of the state and as a result of that economy of the state has boosted considerably. Tourism has given employment to a lot of citizens of the state, who are grateful to the young CM.
Recently, the People’s CM visited the Bundelkhand region to interact one-to-one with the residents to understand their problem and paid Kalinjar Fort a visit. It is a fortress city in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh located in Banda District near the temple city of Khajuraho. Kalinjar Fort has a special mention in the world history as being as strong as the wall of Alexander.
The Fort was in a dilapidated state which did not please the CM. He immediately ordered the concerned authorities to look into the maintenance and rehabilitation of the monument. He also tweeted about it, “It’s unfortunate that the fort has not been maintained well, considering it’s heritage and history”. This was well received by the people who were happy to see the personal concern of Akhilesh Yadav.
According to the stats, the tourism in Uttar Pradesh has almost doubled in the last 4 years. This has been possible due to overall development of the state. Infrastructure has improved along with facilities, making Uttar Pradesh travelable. We are glad that our CM takes special care of the people and heritage alike.
