Akhilesh Government has taken yet another big step for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. The young CM has issued directives that from now on, divorced daughters of government employees will get pension from the government. This law will be applicable to all the workers from Group A to Group D. And this is not all; Akhilesh Yadav has made many reforms to the existing regulations to benefit everyone.

A few months back, UPCM announced that all the government employees availing pension plan will get additional monetary help if they have unmarried, divorced, or windowed daughters. Along with this, after the demise of the pensioner, the wife or the daughter will continue to get the benefits.

According to an old law issued by the Allahabad High Court, the dependents of the deceased were liable to get a job, which covered unmarried and widowed daughters only. Samajwadi Party pointed out that it is only fair to extend this law for the divorced daughters as well. This new clause will be updated in the next 4 months.

Social Samajwadi would like to applaud the steps taken by the Akhilesh Government to uplift all the social sectors of the society.
