According to the Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojna, initiated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav, all meritorious female students who clear their intermediate exams from Secondary Sanskrit Education Board or madarsas will be awarded Rs. 30,000 each. This program is an attempt to motivate parents to educate their girl child with the same dedication they show for their male counterpart, without religion being a bar. It is a win-win for all! This program has encouraged many more females to complete their education.

On a recent visit to Hamirpur, Akhilesh Yadav, distributed Kanya Vidya Dhan to righteous recipients. Apart from this, he also issued farmer accident insurance covers and cycles among the labourers. But this was not all, the People’s CM paid surprise visits to schools, hospitals, and government offices to ensure their smooth functioning at all times. He also asked various people about their problems and tried to find a solution for them.

After Hamirpur, AkhileshYadav, visited Jalaun and inaugurated a solar plant for Bundelkhand and 36 different projects. The people were happy to see all the development happening in their district.
