The youth has been the focus of the Samajwadi Party ever since they have come into existence. And this was strongly taken up by the young Chief Minister of Akhilesh Yadav, when he came to power in 2012. Since then, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched multiple schemes and projects to empower the youth. From ensuring better education for them to giving them adequate training, the People’s CM has left no stone unturned.

To make the youngsters job ready, the Akhilesh-led government has signed an MoU with Maruti Suzuki. As per this memorandum, the car maker giant will provide vocational training to 500 unemployed youth. Training from a good brand will make the youth a desirable candidate and give them better opportunities in their career. Abhishek Mishra, Minister for Vocational Education and Skill Development, termed this step as a concrete step towards imparting training to the youth in the state to help them make their future.

Maruti has multiple service centres across the country where these trained youth can get employed after hands on lessons. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, the Vice President of Maruti Suzuki signed the memorandum and informed that the company is already training students in 5 industrial institutes in the state and a regional centre will soon be functional.

Social Samajwadi and the youth of Uttar Pradesh would like to thank CM Akhilesh Yadav for such initiatives.
