Kashmir has been in the news for more than one reasons in the past. Earlier it would be about its beauty and natural sites but of late it is mostly of turmoil and unrest. The entire country is extremely saddened by the state of affairs and prays for an improvement. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav along with Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh have decided to take a stand for the immigrants from Kashmir.
They have issued a plea to Akhilesh Yadav, the Chief Minister of the state to issue land between Kanpur and Lucknow for Kashmiri Pandits to set up base here and help in finding employment. The Samajwadi Party members will soon be visiting the refugee camps of Kashmir to get an actual picture of the scenario. They believe in creating a socialist society based on equality with a secular and democratic vision.
Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party is heading the Uttar Pradesh government with the same ideologies. His continuous efforts to uplift the weaker sections of the society are commendable. On one hand Samajwadi Pension Plan has benefitted 55 lakh people and on the other Samajwadi Ambulance Service has helped 46 lakh state residents. His visionary schemes and initiatives have not only made him extremely popular amongst the people but at the same time have set benchmarks for other states to follow.
