A lot of times, it is not enough to be meritorious; one must also be privileged to access the best facilities. But not anymore!
Thanks to Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, who has announced free training to meritorious students of class 10th and 12th, studying in government schools to crack the most prestigious exams. This initiative was thought of, when a few students cracked IIT entrance exams without any coaching. So, we can only imagine, the number of bright students who will do wonders with a little bit of guidance. Hence, the People’s CM decided to rope in Super 30 to establish a centre in Uttar Pradesh.
“The poor but brilliant students of the state-run schools would be identified and trained for IIT examination in lines with Super 30 project. Because Bihar’s brain behind “Super 30” scheme Anand Kumar has expertise in this field, officials of the secondary education department should prepare a work plan in this direction,” Akhilesh Yadav said. Super 30 will conduct tests for students from Lucknow, Kanpur, and Varanasi, and train selected students.
Apart from this, the UP government is also working on a plan to extend financial help to meritorious students. Mutthu Kumaraswamy B. has been named nodal officer for this initiative.
