The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav has equipped the police force with modern equipment to make it strong and more dependable. After all, the security of the people is of utmost importance for social welfare.
The UP government has gone the extra mile and set up Police Emergency Response System, DIAL 100, which will reduce the response time of the police, drastically. “The scheme will enable the police to reach the scene of incident within 20 minutes in the rural area and the response time in urban areas will be 10 minutes in two-wheelers and 15 minutes in four-wheelers. This is the biggest project of the state as well as the country for modernisation of the police system,” the Digital CM said.
The DIAL 100 service will ensure that people are more comfortable and can get help, in time. After a great response from select cities, the UP government has approved it to be used for the rest of the state. There will be 300 trained communication officers to receive distress calls and 200 officers on standby to extend timely support.
The officials were sent to the US to learn the techniques which make 911, a success and implement them in Uttar Pradesh’s DIAL 100.
