Uttar Pradesh students appearing in board exams, for both 10th
and 12th standard, have done everyone proud and are now geared up to
go in for higher education. College entrance exams are in progress and these youngsters are waiting with bated breath for results after results. On 27th
May, results of a reputed fashion designing college were announced and they
brought the state another reason to be happy.
National Institute of Fashion Technology is one of the best
in the country with lakhs of students applying every year. But only a few sincere
ones are selected to study in this prestigious institute via a rigorous
procedure, which begins with a written paper. Neha Mishra, a young girl from
Lucknow, topped the national level exam by securing 82.10% marks. She wishes to
pursue Bachelor of Design course and then has plans to do a Post Graduation
from Italy before she starts her own company.
According to Neha, the biggest reason for her success is that
she followed her passions and has decided to make her hobby, her profession. She
said, “Good art is not the only necessary aspect. Creativity and ideas must
come to you naturally. Math and English are also equally important in cracking
the NIFT entrance exam.” Neha’s parents who are doctors describe her as a
‘creative child’ and support her interests.
Social Samajwadi is extremely proud of Neha and wish her all
the luck for the next phase of the exam.
